The CAMS JDP (Tarmac) began in 2010 as an incentive from the CAMS State Motor Racing Panel, modeled on the successful South Districts Car Club Junior Development Program and run by the South Australian Motor Racing Officials Association. In 2012 the Tarmac Junior Development Program Association of South Australia was formed and become independent of SAMROA.
We would like to thank the SAMROA for their support and getting us started.
Now that we are an association, we are able to issue CAMS Club memberships and CAMS competition licenses. This benefits any past JDP participates or current volunteers in maintaining their CAMS Club membership and CAMS competition license, plus all membership fees go directly back into the program to assist in vehicle maintenance and upgrades.
Tarmac JDP Assoc of SA is a volunteer organization and it’s members donate their time for the benefit of motor sport.
Tarmac JDP Assoc of SA is affiliated with Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) which is the peak sanctioning body for motor sport in Australia.
